Question: Is it worth it to utterly disrupt our way of life, our economy and scientific community in order to perpetuate an un-provable scientific theory in the name of not causing the world's average temperatures to theoretically rise 1 degree celcius over the course of 100 years?
Answer: If you stand to gain from it in the form of votes or increasing government spending on useless projects, yes it absolutely makes sense.
I hear about companies jumping on the Global Warming Bandwagon, most recently FOX, and i can't help but wonder why these companies are doing this. It appears to me that these companies really think they have alot to gain by making people think they are going green or changing the environment. I'm sure much better articles than this have been written about the utter scam that Carbon Credits are, yet i still feel compelled to make a point about it.
Carbon Credits are a scam.
Pure and simple. Al Gore owns a carbon credit company. How convenient. He pays himself money to be "Carbon Neutral".
I saw a couple of women that co-directed a global warming movie with Leonardo DiCaprio. I won't even dignify the movie with the title of it on this post, but the women were talking to Sean Hannity. They were asked if they think people who fly private jets and then promote cleaner transportation and making the masses comply with certain rules, if those people are hypocrites. Their answer was that Hannity was simply trying to shoot the messenger.
Basically that statement shows the arrogance of these people in that they think they have a message from some devout source and that they need the message to be delivered, despite the actions of the person delivering the message. The idea that nobody knows what "Global Warming" is, is ridiculous, and the fact that we need it hammered down our throats even more, is the most ridiculous.
Believe in what you want, but don't preach it to me. Practice what you want, but don't enforce it on me. Let the market do what it will, do not regulate it. If people want to regulate themselves as far as hybrids and lighbulbs, let people do it. It's a huge business now and if the market desires stupidity, it will get it. If the market does it to itself, it will be able to be corrected at a later date with more ease than if the government regulates it.
Look at endangered species laws where whole buildings cannot be improved on, or built because of a special rat, bug or bird. How about the turtles down in Florida that follow light, so the residents cannot have their lights on in the evening 3 months before and after the turtles lay their eggs. These examples just show how much of a power grab is going on over this issue, and that too many people are bending over and grabbing their ankles in what they think it protecting planet earth while all it is doing is making some politicians richer and gain votes and funding from whacko fringe groups.
